The North Seattle Youth Boosters Association is a small youth-focused community group funded by donations with a focus on strengthening relationships with neighborhood youth by working together on community projects & providing opportunities for them to “TEST DRIVE LIFE” through the exploration of recreation, education & employment ideas that interest them.
The Boosters are fiscally sponsored at no charge by Taproot Theatre, http://www.taproottheatre.org, a non-profit theatre founded in Greenwood in 1976. Taproot has offered to be the fiscal sponsor of the organization for 2009 and 2010. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Banking for The Boosters is provided at no charge by Viking Bank- http://vikingbank.com. There is no paid staff associated with The Boosters. It’s completely a volunteer organization.
